Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using Nuriqa.

Who we are

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Nuriqa website, apps, and related services (together, the “Platform”). Nuriqa is a contribution-based fashion platform operated for users in the United Kingdom and elsewhere where the service is offered.

By creating an account, browsing listings, buying, selling, requesting sponsorship, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate registration details and keep them up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account.

You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract. If you use the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

Buying and selling

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, item condition, photos, and fulfilment of orders once a sale is confirmed.

Buyers are responsible for reviewing item details before checkout. Prices, contributions, platform fees, and delivery charges are shown in pounds sterling (GBP / £) before you confirm payment.

Nuriqa may approve, reject, suspend, or remove listings or accounts where content appears inaccurate, unsafe, unlawful, or inconsistent with our community standards.

Payments, fees, and donations

Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe or PayPal. Card and wallet details are handled by those providers under their own terms.

Checkout totals may include item contributions or prices, platform or buyer-protection fees, optional donations, tax where applicable, and shipping. Optional donations are never charged without your clear agreement.

Seller earnings and withdrawals are subject to our wallet and withdrawal rules, including any pending periods, verification, and admin review.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Platform, including by posting unlawful or infringing content, harassing others, attempting unauthorised access, manipulating reviews or payments, or listing prohibited items.

We may investigate suspected misuse and take action including warning, suspension, termination, or cooperation with law enforcement where required.

Intellectual property

Nuriqa branding, site design, and Platform materials remain our property or that of our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without permission, except as needed to use the Platform in the ordinary way.

By uploading listing images or other content, you grant Nuriqa a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute that content for operating and promoting the Platform.

Liability

The Platform is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nuriqa is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for disputes arising solely between buyers and sellers, except where we cannot exclude liability (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date on this page will change when we do. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Questions about these Terms can be sent via our Contact page.

Refund Policies

Guidance on cancellations, delivery issues, and when refunds may apply.

General approach

Because Nuriqa includes both new and preloved items, and some contribution-based or sponsored fulfilment flows, refund eligibility depends on the item type, seller, and fulfilment stage.

If an item arrives damaged, is not as described, or is not delivered, contact us promptly with your order details and supporting photos where relevant so we can help resolve the issue with the seller or carrier.

Cancellations

You may be able to cancel before an order is packed or dispatched. Once an order is in transit or completed, cancellations are usually not available and any return or refund is handled under the rules for that listing.

Optional donations and platform fees already processed may be non-refundable except where required by law or where we determine a service failure occurred on our side.

How to request help

Use your order history in your account, or reach us through the Contact page, and include your invoice or order reference. We aim to respond as quickly as practical and to treat buyers and sellers fairly.

Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect personal information on the Platform.

What we collect

We collect information you provide directly (such as name, email, phone, address, account preferences, messages, and listing content) and information generated when you use the Platform (such as order history, device/browser data, and approximate location derived from IP address).

Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment partners; Nuriqa does not store full card numbers on its own servers.

How we use information

We use personal data to operate accounts, process orders and withdrawals, provide customer support, improve the Platform, prevent fraud and abuse, send service messages, and—where you opt in—marketing updates such as newsletter emails.

We may share data with processors who help us run the Platform (hosting, payments, shipping, email delivery) under appropriate agreements, and where required by law.

Retention and security

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs, then delete or anonymise it where practical.

We apply technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data, though no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law (including UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise these rights, contact us via the Contact page. You may also lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe your data protection rights have been infringed.

Cookies and updates

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the site to function, and may use analytics cookies to understand how the Platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
